光电传感器是一种感应其接收的光强度变化的电子器件，包含光学系统、放大器和开关量输出装置。所有光电传感器都使用调制光以排除周围光源可能的影响，工作时，光电传感器发射光线，当被检测物体经过时，根据检测模式的不同，物体或吸收光线或将光线反射到光电传感器的收光器，从而导致收光器接收的光线强度产生变化，其变化值触发开关信号输出，实现检测功能。

　  测量光幕是一种特殊的光电传感器，与普通的对射式光电传感器一样，包含相互分离且相对放置的发射器和收光器两部分，但其外形尺寸较大，为长管状。测量光幕发射器产生的检测光线并非如普通传感器般只有一束，而是沿长度方向定间距生成光线阵列，形成一个“光幕”，以一种扫描的方式，配合控制器及其软件，实现监控和测量物体外形尺寸的功能。

　  光幕测量系统要正常工作需配备一个控制器，控制器使用软件进行编程设定，可提供多种扫描模式和检测分析模式，而且可通过串行接口与PLC或计算机进行通讯，传递控制或扫描结果，另外还可接入触发信号控制扫描过程。

    产品配置：1.发射器和接收器：发射器内置线性排列的高能量发光元件，接收器内置与发射器数量相同的接受元件，发射器和接收器的对应光电元件依次按顺序同步触发，检测光路是否导通，当汽车通过扫描区域时，部分或全部光束被遮挡，因而被检测出。

               2.控制单元：调取并处理发射器/接收器的同步扫描信号，同时检测光幕工作状态，提供多种输出信号，如：开关量输出、串口输出或模拟量输出。考虑到系统的可靠性和安装的简便性，市场上普遍使用的车辆分离光幕都是控制器内置的两箱式产品，而没有独立的外置控制器。

               3.电缆线：连接发射器/接收器与控制器的接插电缆，一般长度为5—10m。

               4.防护外罩：为不锈钢或铝合金材料，为分离器提供防护，内置电加热玻璃、温度控制器、湿度控制器，在湿度过高、温度过低时实现自动加热，以保证车辆分离器在潮湿地区、雨雪天气、寒冷季节可靠使用。
